Privacy Policy — TRASH DASH
Effective date: 11 September 2026 · Provided by: Qurosas Inc. (a Delaware, USA corporation)
This policy explains what information the game TRASH DASH ("the game", "we") handles,
why, and the choices you have. We tried to keep it short and honest. If anything here is unclear,
email us (see §9).
The short version: TRASH DASH shows only optional, opt-in
“rewarded” ads — you choose to watch one for a bonus; there are no forced or pop-up
ads. We use no analytics or tracking beyond what those ads require. Single-player
works fully offline. You can remove ads with a one-time purchase, and delete all your data at any time.
1. Information we collect
- Game progress (on your device). Your snacks, unlocks, skins, best scores and
settings are stored locally on your device (in the app's local storage). This never leaves your
device unless you sign in.
- Account (optional). If you create an account, you choose a username and
password. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; your
password is hashed and verified by Google — the game itself never sees or stores your
password. (Internally, your username is mapped to a private placeholder address so that
usernames stay unique; we do not ask for or store your real email.)
- Cloud save (optional). If you are signed in, your game progress (the same data
listed above, plus your chosen display name and avatar) is synced to Google Cloud
Firestore so you can restore it on another device. It is stored under your account's
anonymous account ID.
- Online multiplayer (optional). When you join or host an online room, your chosen
display name, avatar, character skin and your in-game position/actions are shared
directly with the other players in that room so the game can be played together. There is no text or
voice chat.
- Leaderboards & Daily Challenge (optional). When you finish a run, your chosen
display name, avatar, skin, score, wave and kills can be posted to public leaderboards
(all-time, weekly and the Daily Challenge) so players can see the rankings. To post, the game uses your
account if you are signed in, or otherwise creates an anonymous Google Firebase sign-in on your
device (no username, email or password). You can switch posting off at any time on the Leaderboards
screen.
- Advertising. The game shows optional rewarded ads via Google AdMob.
To serve them, AdMob may access a device advertising identifier and limited device/usage
information. Ads are the only place any such data is used, and only when you choose to watch one.
(If you buy “Remove Ads / Supporter Pack”, no ads or ad identifiers are used at all.)
- Purchases. If you buy something, the transaction is processed by Google
Play Billing. Google handles your payment details — the game never sees your card or
payment information; we only receive confirmation of what you purchased.
2. What we do not collect
- No forced, pop-up, or full-screen (interstitial) ads — advertising is always opt-in and rewarded.
- No analytics SDKs or behavioural profiling by us, beyond what the opt-in ads themselves use.
- No real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- No access to your device's files, camera, or microphone.
- We never sell or rent your data.
3. How we use information
To make the game work: to save and restore your progress, to sign you in, to connect you with the
other players you choose to play with, to show a rewarded ad when you ask for one, and to deliver items
you purchase. We do not sell or rent your data.
4. Third-party services
The optional online features rely on these services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore) — accounts, cloud save and leaderboards.
See Google's Firebase privacy information.
- PeerJS signaling broker and STUN/TURN relay servers — used only to
establish a peer-to-peer connection between players. These may briefly process network address
(IP) information to route the connection, as is standard for any online multiplayer.
- Google AdMob — serves the optional rewarded ads. See
AdMob & privacy
and how Google uses ad data.
- Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases; payment details are handled by Google.
Firebase and PeerJS are only contacted if you sign in, play online, or view or post leaderboards. AdMob may initialise when the app
opens so a rewarded ad is ready if you choose to watch one; if you own “Remove Ads”, it is not used.
5. Advertising
Ads in TRASH DASH are opt-in and rewarded only: you tap a button (for example
“Double Snacks” or “Daily Bonus”) to watch a short ad in exchange for an in-game reward. We never show
forced, pop-up, or full-screen ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Where required (for example in the
EU/UK), the app shows Google's consent request so you can choose whether ads are personalised. You can
permanently remove all ads with the one-time Remove Ads or Supporter purchase.
6. Purchases
The game offers optional purchases (Remove Ads, a Supporter Pack, a cosmetic skin, and packs of the
in-game “snacks” currency). All payments are processed by Google Play Billing; we never receive or store
your payment details. Non-consumable purchases (like Remove Ads) are tied to your Google account and can
be restored.
7. Multiplayer, leaderboards & other players
In an online room, the other players in that room can see the display name, avatar and skin you
choose, and your character's movement during the match. Rooms are private (joined by a code, an invite
link or matchmaking) and end when players leave. If leaderboard posting is on, everyone
can see the display name, avatar, skin and scores you post. Please pick a display name you are comfortable
sharing.
8. Children's privacy
TRASH DASH is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to
children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the
game is rated for a 13+ audience, ads may be personalised subject to your consent choice. If you believe a
child under 13 has used the game, contact us (§11) and we will delete the associated data.
9. Deleting your account and your data
You are always in control of your data:
- Local data: uninstalling the app removes all locally-stored progress. You can also
tap Account → “🗑️ Delete account & data” inside the game.
- Account & cloud save: if you are signed in, the in-game
“Delete account & data” button permanently deletes your login and your cloud
save. (For security, you may be asked to sign in again first, then delete.)
- Leaderboard entries: the same button also removes the scores this device posted to
the leaderboards, and you can switch posting off at any time on the Leaderboards screen.
- By request: you can also ask us to delete your account and associated data by
emailing support@qurosas.com with the username you used.
We will action deletion promptly.
10. Data retention & security
Cloud saves and leaderboard entries are kept until you delete your account or data, or request
removal (weekly and daily entries stay stored after that period ends unless deleted). Sign-in and cloud storage are
handled by Google Firebase's secured infrastructure. TRASH DASH is an independently-made game; while we
take reasonable care, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
11. Contact
Questions or deletion requests: support@qurosas.com (Qurosas Inc.).
12. Changes to this policy
If we change what data the game handles, we will update this page and change the effective date at
the top.
